AE2 is definitely more powerful than Refined Storage except for fluid handling. With subnetworks you can automate nearly anything that can be automated. Refined Storage is easier to set up as a storage system and can autocraft everything that goes into a crafting table past that, AE2 is pretty much the winner. 1.Not possible with RS then, at least not any way that I'm aware of.
